Break It - Build It

Yup that's right! We’re going to break things..ok more like take things apart. Has your child ever wondered what is on the inside of a radio or computer key board? Well, we’re going to spend the week finding out! A lot can be learned by opening things up and looking inside.  Sometimes that means we have to break things to learn from them. With the help of some tools and protected by safety glasses, we will break into all kinds of things and see what they are made of.  Then we’ll try to put things back together again or make and create new things. Your child will spend the week immersed in science, art and literature. So, if you have a curious destructor and constructor, this is the camp for them!

Leader Bio

I have been a kindergarten teacher for 20 years and actively involved within the education field for over 25 years.  Watching children get excited while exploring and learning from their environment, is one of my greatest rewards.  My free time is spent outside. I love to bike, hike and go camping. I live on a farmette outside of Madison and share my home with an energetic puppy along with a horse and donkey who have to stay outside.

$200 This includes registration, all materials and a simple snack.
