Medical Mysteries

This camp is designed for those who love problem solving through strange and obscure medical cases.  We will investigate case studies using clinical laboratory and tissue samples, and explore images using our virtual cadaver, the Anatomage.  We will dissect a virtual human cadaver to learn normal anatomy, and then compare that to strange medical cases.  We'll have to use all of this information to solve these medical mysteries!  Campers can expect to learn about the human body through virtual dissection, and gain an understanding of how specific medical diseases affect the body's anatomy and function.  Be prepared to use specialized textbooks, computers, and medical laboratory tests and results in order to solve these cases.

An exciting and engaging summer science camp for students who will enter grades 7-9 in the fall.  Participants should bring a refillable water bottle.
