Have you been following the “Maker Space” movement? Does the idea of designing and creating new things appeal to you? In this camp students will learn about the basics of 3d printing, basic tools and the resources in the area to make, explore and create to their hearts content! Students will learn the fundamentals of additive manufacturing and work to create an original project of their dreams, and find their inner Maker.
The camp will be held in the Sonderegger Science Center on the Edgewood College Campus. The science center is a K-16 building that serves science students of all ages. 1000 Edgewood College drive, Madison, WI

Rachael & Brian Lancor
Rachael and Brian are both physics professors at Edgewood College. Rachael’s area of expertise is in studying how people learn physics. Brian is trained as an atomic physicist, which means he studies how light interacts with matter using lasers. At Edgewood, they teach physics courses of every variety from Astronomy to Quantum Mechanics. Both Rachael and Brian have led numerous summer camps at Edgewood over the years, and are parents to a very inquisitive third grader.
$200 This includes registration, all materials and a simple mid-morning snack.
