Family Science Night
Monday, April 15, 2013 from 6:30-8:00pm in the Sonderegger Science Center. Parking is free. The public is invited.
The Edgewood Family Science Night is an annual event in which the Sonderegger Science Center on the Edgewood Campus features a host of hands-on science exploration stations that allow students of all ages to investigate science phenomena and the nature of scientific discovery. Edgewood students and families as well as representatives from UW- Madison, private organizations, and the greater Madison community will provide interesting science learning opportunities.
Edgewood Family Science Night is a free event and is open to the public. Please come visit us and share in our activities. We offer Spanish translation services and are a handicap-accessible facility.
As an added service to families, Edgewood High School representatives are on hand throughout the evening to inform people about their unique science program and answer any questions.
This program is offered through our unique K-16 Science Program. Students and families from all three Edgewood schools participate as both presenters and attendees. Every year over 100 people participate as presenters and over 300 people attend the event annually. It is a great community event as well as a terrific opportunity for families to get out and have some fun together...and you can't beat the price!
