Why, Mommy, Why? Little People, Big Questions: Full

What?
This summer camp is designed for pre-school children to explore and investigate the world around them. Hands-on activities will engage you and your child with a different science topic each week. For example: Static Electricity, Color Mixing, What's in Lake Wingra?, Circuits, Volcanoes, Freezing Cold (Liquid Nitrogen). Come with a sense of adventure and in clothes that can get a little dirty. We'll be doing activities both inside and outside.

A child and their caregiver can register for the Tuesday series, the Thursday series, or sign up for both for a discount. If you are looking for some fun and educational activities to do with your child this summer, without the commitment of a week-long camp, this may be for you.

These sessions are for children ages 3-5 accompanied by an adult caregiver.

Where?
The camp will be held in and around the Sonderegger Science Center, on the Edgewood College Campus. The science center is a K-16 building that serves science students of all ages in the Edgewood community.

When?
Tuesdays and/or Thursdays from June 4 through June 27, 2013. 9:00-10:00 a.m.

The camp leader will be Rachael Lancor (Edgewood College Physics Professor and Science Outreach Professional). Rachael has extensive experience in science, science education, and science outreach...and she has a 4 year old of her own.
